Hello O&M Specialists! Come work with a woman and therapist run company! Ampersand Therapy is seeking to elevate the employment experience of working in schools. We are hiring a full-time Orientation and Mobility Specialist in Kent, WA for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year.

Starting ASAP
Key Responsibilities
Develops plans and instructs students with visual impairments in the development of skills and knowledge
Implement IEPs, individualized interventions, and classroom accommodations
Build a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
Collaborate with school-based Special Education teams, behavior specialists, and families
Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and team planning sessions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
Valid WA teaching license
Orientation and Mobility Specialist
ESA required, or willing and eligible to obtain
Must hold a valid Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS) certificate from the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (ACVREP), or a valid National Orientation and Mobility Certification (NOMC) from the National Blindness Professional Certification Board (NBPCB)
