Duties and Responsibilities Safety
Sets the tone for Project Safety
Assists Project Superintendent with implementation and enforcement of HPM and project specific safety plans
Ensure all operations have a current hazard analysis
Leads periodic safety walks
Mentors field engineers on safety culture and protocols
Quality
Work with project team to ensure that HPM is building work in compliance with all contract documents
Assists with maintaining record documents such as testing and inspections, progress photographs, etc.
Attends weekly coordination meetings as required
Attends and assists in preparatory and preconstruction meetings for assigned disciplines
Assists project superintendent with walk-through inspections
Works with field engineers to develop work plans for operations
Compliance
Assists Project Superintendent with implementation and enforcement of HPM and project specific stormwater management plans
Implementing and enforcing all established HPM policies and procedures
Performs other project specific compliance requirements as assigned
Scheduling
Understands scheduling philosophy and participates in weekly schedule meetings
Participates in weekly coordination meetings as required
Assist in developing and monitoring schedules on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
Implements the project schedules in the field to ensure work is executed accordingly
Under direct supervision, may draft short term construction schedules for specific features of work using scheduling software
Project Administration
Responsible for as-built documentation on site
Cost Control
Understands cost, is a steward of the project budget, and makes mindful spending decisions
Performs tasks related to the collection and analysis of cost data required to monitor project budgets and progress
Understands production rates and how they affect schedule
Utilizes production rates to modify project schedules, make decisions, and ensure timely completion of the project
Assists with procurement of non-contract minor field purchasingPerforms cost coding activities for time sheets and non-contract minor purchases
Begins to understand HPM’s project cost accounting system
Procurement/Tracking
Coordinate with project team on procurement of long lead items in accordance with the project schedule
Clearly communicates purchasing needs with the proper office personnel
Field Execution
Reads and is familiar with all construction and contract documents, and changes, including:
Plans, project manual, all specifications, geotechnical reports, and applicable contract documents
Plans and executes work such that issues are recognized in advance to allow for timely resolution
Assists in writing and communicating RFI’s when required
Assists in the evaluation of dimensional and other field problems, and working with Project Superintendent to resolve
Manages site logistics, access, and material storage and security
Is the day-to-day onsite coordinator of craft and subcontractors for effective execution of the work.
Contract Administration
Familiar with the contract drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and submittals to ensure compliance of work
Recognizes and reports to the onsite supervisor and changes in site conditions based on contract documents

Qualifications Basic Requirements
Must be a US citizen due to federal contractor requirements in order to obtain top security clearance.
Must be over the age of 18 to apply.
A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record is required, as per company standards.
Must have ability and willingness to travel and work on projects for extended periods outside of Colorado.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, adept at prioritizing and multitasking in fast-paced environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Motivated self-starter dedicated to excellence and proactive problem-solving.

Solid computer skills including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) and Bluebeam with a willingness to adapt to new software. Experience with Procore, Microsoft Project, and scheduling tools are a plus.
Solid understanding of quantity tracking and how it relates to production and budget.
Collaborative team member capable of autonomously achieving deadlines, goals, and objectives.
Ensure consistent and punctual attendance, demonstrating reliability and regularity.
Complete tasks within designated deadlines during standard operating hours and be available for overtime and weekend work as necessary.
Work safely and efficiently, adhering to both oral and written instructions, including safety protocols, equipment guidelines, and company policies.
Sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift 25+ pounds frequently.
