Job Title: Video Editor and Tech Specialist
Reports to: Coordinator of On Air Operations and Editing Supervisor Pay: $15 to $22.50 per hour depending on education and experience Work Schedule: Average 8 to 12 hours a week, (approximately 32 to 42 hours a month) contracted for no more than 500 hours a year. Qualifications:
Experience with video editing programs and equipment. Experience operating studio cameras, sound boards, switchers, and controllers. Job Description:
Edit shows to final production quality – this includes working with title slides, music, B Roll, multi-camera edits, adjusting sound quality and lighting quality and using/creating special effects. Familiar with and able to work with editing software, including but not limited to, Adobe Premiere Pro (and other Adobe tools/programs), DaVinci, Sony Vegas. Create and maintain program playlists and upload to Castus, YouTube and other social media platforms, this includes, but not limited to, live streaming content such as the Palos Heights City Council meetings. Maintain and update PHTV4 social media including, but not limited to, the PHTV4 presence on Facebook and Instagram. Manage and operate and maintain cameras in the PHTV4 studio, council room and on location for PHTV4 programs. Manage, operate and maintain audio systems and equipment for the recording of PHTV4 programs in the studio, in the control room, on location and in the council room. Manage and maintain equipment related to the recording and broadcasting of PHTV4 programs, including but not limited to updating our software programs, Blackmagic equipment and Castus system.
