Position Overview
The Sales Associate is responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience. The Sales Associate will also handle a variety of operational duties as assigned by the store management team (e.g., housekeeping duties, visual presentation standards, etc.).

Responsibilities
Greeting customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere non-business-like greeting.
Creating a positive first impression through energetic attitude and adherence to dress code.
Maintaining a sparkling clean and organized environment by adhering to store standards and cleanliness.
Providing current relevant information about the product to customers.
Providing quality service in the fitting rooms, following up with customers in a timely manner, maintaining cash wrap cleanliness, and attempting to add-on to the sale.
Operating cash wrap efficiently, offering gift cards, maintaining cleanliness, and capturing customer information in the database.
Sincerely thanking all customers for shopping at GUESS as they exit the store.
Completing all duties assigned by management.
Being punctual and adhering to the designated work schedule.
Working well with peers and management to accomplish duties.
Following GUESS policies and procedures 100%.
Performing housekeeping duties as required.
Meeting or exceeding the sales per hour (SPH) result as assigned by management.
Participating in all store meetings and other related functions.
Representing a positive attitude toward merchandise and the company.
Participating in all inventories.
Qualifications
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Previous retail experience preferred.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical stamina to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance frequently.
Ability to perform heavy lifting in excess of 30 pounds and stand for a minimum of eight hours during scheduled shifts.
Benefits Competitive hourly wage ranging from $11.41 to $18.00 per hour.
