Overview We are seeking a results-driven
Senior Account Sales Executive
to lead new business development and drive revenue growth for our
CDMO Analytical Outsourcing
services. This role is focused on proactive sales activities, building new client relationships, and expanding our footprint in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors across New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Ideal candidates will live in New Jersey or Pennsylvania. This position will include up to 40% travel.
Compensation: $110,00.00 - 135,000.00 per year plus commission
Key Responsibilities Sales and Business Development
Prospect and identify new business opportunities within the territory.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and on-site visits to promote services.
Build a robust pipeline of qualified leads and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to close.
Negotiate pricing and terms to secure new contracts.
Market Development
Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs.
Position our CDMO analytical services as a value-added solution for drug development and outsourcing needs.
Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
Proposal and Contract Management
Collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals and ensure timely delivery.
Drive contract negotiations and close deals efficiently.
Performance Monitoring
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM.
Report on sales performance metrics and forecast revenue.
Qualifications Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field.
Experience
3-5 years of proven success in sales or business development within the pharmaceutical/CDMO/CRO industry.
Strong understanding of analytical services and drug development processes preferred.
Skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
