Regional Sales Manager
This is a permanent, full‑time position located remotely with occasional travel to key branches (Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Syracuse, NY; West Springfield, MA; New Bedford, MA).
Base Pay Range $80,000 – $150,000 per year, plus performance‑based incentives and discretionary bonus.
Job Summary Lead and expand sales operations in the manufacturing industry, focusing on overhead doors, dock and door, and security systems. Drive sales targets, build strong customer relationships, and develop a high‑performing sales team.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to the region.
Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting customer relationships.Analyze regional market trends and identify growth opportunities.
Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions.
Participate in decisions for expansion or acquisition.
Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques.
Coordinate with marketing to ensure proper brand representation.
Report on sales results and forecast future sales.
Prepare and review the annual budget for the area.
Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing sales team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
5+ years as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager, or similar senior sales role.
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience in overhead door, dock and door, and security systems.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
Strong analytical skills with market dynamics understanding.
Ability to travel as necessary.
Excellent customer service skills and relationship building.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience preferred.
