About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented B2B Collections Specialist to join our client’s team in Anoka. This role involves managing a high-volume, low-dollar collections portfolio with a strong focus on resolving payment issues rather than credit analysis. The ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating with customers via email and phone, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring timely resolution of outstanding balances.
Job Description
Manage two business lines previously handled by a third-party agency.
Collect outstanding balances through proactive communication with customers and internal teams.
Review and release orders on credit hold.
Resolve disputed invoices, short payments, and deductions.
Provide documentation related to invoices and payments upon request.
Collaborate with business teams to address delinquency issues.
Handle high-volume collections, primarily via email (approximately 75%), with phone outreach as needed.
Occasionally negotiate payment plans.
Utilize collections software such as GetPaid for tracking and reporting.
Qualifications
Required:
1+ year of B2B collections experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage deductions and short pays with attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred:
Experience using collections software (GetPaid is a plus).
Familiarity with managing portfolios previously handled by third-party agencies.
