Sales Account Manager, Oncology

to serve the Greater Sacramento area. The successful candidate must live within the assigned territory and have a proven record of success in urology and/or medical oncology. Job Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure successful product launch and meet territory sales objectives through execution of the Brand Plan of Action.

Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including medical oncology, urology, radiation oncology, medical groups, patient advocacy groups, and support staff.

Become an expert on product information and communicate clinically relevant messaging to all stakeholders.

Drive product demand through interactive dialogue with HCPs, understanding the prostate cancer patient journey and utilizing approved educational resources.

Create and implement an effective territory business plan to guide strategy, tactics, and track progress.

Monitor competitive sales activity and provide recommendations to leadership.

Partner with regional directors, marketing, training, commercial operations, market access, and other stakeholders to execute the launch plan. Key Core Competencies

Proven track record of exceeding sales goals in the assigned geography.

Strong technical knowledge and sales techniques within oncology or urology.

Ability to analyze and present scientific/technical data effectively.

Proficiency in virtual customer access and interaction.

Skilled at leveraging technology edição de resumo and business hardware/software.

Experience with office calls, GPO contracts, IDN influence, reimbursement, and copay implications.

Knowledge of payer mix and reimbursement environment in the territory.

BA or BS degree, preferably in life sciences or business administration.

Minimum 7 years of validated commercial experience in pharma, diagnostics, or health care, preferably specialty pharmaceuticals.

Recent oncology and/or urology promotion and/or product launch experience preferred.

Experience in a start‑up or entrepreneurial environment is desirable.

market access, or advocacy experience desirable.

Experience in account‑based settings (academic hospitals and IDNs).

Travel, Physical Demands, and Work Environment

Valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR required.

Approximately 25‑30% travel; overnight travel as needed.

Regular operation of standard office equipment.

Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.

Regular sitting for long periods; occasional standing and walking.

Close vision required for computer use.

Occasional stooping, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 20 pounds.

Salary and Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $150,400 to $188,000. Compensation also includes merit‑based salary increases, a short incentive plan, eligibility for a 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, and generous paid time off. Total compensation will be based on candidate experience, skills, education, and other factors permissible by law. Disclaimer
