Position Summary Rare Editions is seeking a Production Coordinator with proven apparel production experience to manage styles from development through delivery. This role requires strong ownership of timelines, proactive communication with vendors, and the ability to anticipate and resolve production challenges independently. Position is on site 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
Manage production for assigned styles from purchase order issuance through final delivery
Serve as primary point of contact for factories and vendors on day‑to‑day production matters
Track and follow up on samples, lab dips, trims, approvals, and bulk production
Maintain detailed and accurate production calendars, WIP reports, and costing information
Monitor quality standards and coordinate solutions for production or QC issues
Identify potential delays and proactively communicate risks and solutions to management
Collaborate with design, merchandising, and logistics teams to ensure on‑time delivery
Support compliance with company standards, vendor requirements, and production best practices
Assist in mentoring or guiding junior production team members as needed
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in apparel production or production coordination
Strong understanding of domestic and overseas manufacturing processes
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to handle multiple styles
Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with PLM systems a plus
Ability to work independently, problem‑solve, and take ownership of responsibilities
Children’s wear or special‑occasion apparel experience preferred
