Function:
Technical Sales team members are responsible for working with Clearwing clientele to identify the Audio, Video, Lighting, Rigging, or Stage Drapery needs of the end user. Technical Sales is responsible for truly identifying the problems our clients are looking to solve, recommending a bill of materials, and facilitating the sale of the products that will help our clients meet their objectives. Technical Sales team members should be collaborative, friendly, conversational, detail oriented, and process oriented.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Required to identify sales leads and move them through stages of sales process in Q360 (ERP)
Expected to enter and maintain accurate data in Hubspot (CRM) and Q360 (ERP) including but not limited to contacts, addresses, and all other relevant customer information
Prepare and send detailed estimates and scopes of work to clients
Keep clients informed throughout the sales and delivery process, understanding their technical needs, budgets, and timelines
Attend meetings at customer locations
Ensure projects run smoothly, addressing any issues and assisting with troubleshooting
Maintain relationships with vendors, handling product updates and troubleshooting
Communicate promptly with clients via calls and emails, maintaining integrity and reliability
Track client communication in Hubspot
Work closely with purchasing and shipping/receiving teams to meet deadlines
Stay updated on new industry technologies
Collaborate with the compliance team to incorporate contract terms into estimates
Attend sales meetings and occasionally lead Kick-Off Meetings
Assist in training internal staff on new products
Support accounting with monthly sales audits and reconciliation
Propose and collaborate on new procedures to improve customer satisfaction
Participate in trade shows, meetings, and other marketing events
Maintain a positive and open attitude, encouraging teamwork and idea-sharing
Act as an ambassador for the Clearwing brand
Skill/Experience Requirements:
Strong knowledge of Audio, Video, or Lighting Systems
Self-motivated, approachable, and well-organized
Excellent writtenitas and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
Experience in entertainment installation and construction or a background in concert staging / production preferred
Physical Working Conditions:
May occasionally asked to lift up to 35lbs
Required to sit/stand for extended periods while working at a computer
