Fast-growing alternative investment firm seeking a Private Credit Associate.
Company Information: A leading asset manager overseeing more than $4 billion in AUM.
Job Description:
Analyze and value private credit investments through detailed financial modeling and analysis.
Conduct due diligence on prospective borrowers, including market, financial, and qualitative risk assessments.
Monitor portfolio performance across financial and operational metrics.
Prepare regular reports and updates for internal stakeholders.
Assist with structuring, negotiating, and executing loan transactions and documentation.
Collaborate with legal, compliance, and operations teams to support efficient closings.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related discipline; CFA preferred but not required.
3-5 years of experience in private credit, investment banking, M&A, or similar roles.
Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant financial tools.
Solid understanding of private credit markets, deal structuring, and credit risk analysis.
