Actalent is hiring: SolidWorks Drafter Engineering Designer in Slinger

Job Title: Drafter/Designer This role focuses on transforming 2D technical drawings into 3D models using AutoCAD and Inventor. The ideal candidate should be proficient in both 2D drafting and 3D modeling, with strong experience in detailing and technical drawing standards. Interpret 2D CAD drawings, such as mechanical parts, assemblies, and layouts. + Recreate these designs as accurate 3D models using Inventor. + Ensure dimensional accuracy and adherence to design intent. + Create detailed drawings from 3D models for manufacturing or fabrication. + Produce exploded views, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and assembly instructions. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor + Strong skills in drafting and detailing + Experience with Tekla No degree required + 2+ years of experience in 2D and 3D drafting/detailing + 2+ years of experience in AutoCAD and Inventor The work environment involves the use of advanced CAD software and tools. The role requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of design principles. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Slinger, WI.
