Base pay range
$80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
ODA-Architecture, P.C. is seeking an Architectural Designer with 3-7 years of experience and strong design sensibilities and production skill sets. At ODA, you will work with project teams to design and prepare plans and specifications for construction and/or alteration of buildings for various projects.
The Architectural Designer will participate in the development of the design from Conceptual Design to Construction Documents and will work within a team to produce all deliverables required for a project. The Architectural Designer will be responsible for code research, code compliance, and review of documentation in addition to day-to-day project production which includes internal coordination with team members with regards to tasks and deliverables, as well as external consultants.
The successful candidate must excel at functioning in a fast-paced environment, be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and possess strong organizational skills.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture
Minimum 3 years of experience with multi-family residential projects (New York City preferred)
Must possess strong design and technical skills and abilities
Must possess strong communication and presentation skills
Excels in Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
Knowledge of New York State building codes and zoning regulations is preferred
Licensure in NY is preferred
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
