Mechanical Design Engineer We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with 3‑10 years of experience in the design of Switchgear Equipment such as shells, control panels, and structural supports for a high‑volume production facility in Humble, TX. Experience with enclosure, cabinet, wiring layout design, and electrical packaging is highly desired. Responsibilities Design and development of Switchgear Equipment components, including shells, control panels, and structural supports. Develop enclosure and cabinet designs, ensuring mechanical and electrical compatibility. Create wiring layout designs and coordinate with electrical packaging requirements. Qualifications Experience with AutoCAD and 3D design software. Knowledge of Thermal or Heat Analysis (desired). Design for structural integrity. Control panel layout design and familiarity with schematics. BS degree preferred or 7+ years of relevant experience.
