WTMJ News Reporter/Anchor role at Good Karma Brands . Wisconsin’s legendary news/talk brand WTMJ is seeking a full‑time Multimedia Journalist to organize and lead award‑winning coverage. The successful candidate will be organized, skilled at speaking and writing, and passionate about enterprising news. GKB is a media and marketing company with expertise in leveraging national and local sports and news to build brands and connect with fans through audio, video, digital, and events. Daily Tasks of a News Reporter/Anchor (Multimedia Journalist): Pitch and develop news stories Write, produce, and voice news stories for radio and digital formats Capture, edit, and report stories in the field Deliver stories across multiple platforms: on‑air, online, and on social media Anchor newscasts as needed Participate in upholding newsroom best practices and policies Work with the News Director to ensure high‑quality delivery of WTMJ’s on‑air and digital assets Other assigned tasks as required Serve as a Good Karma Brands ambassador by adhering to the GKB core values: Listen, Be Honest, Follow Through, Work Hard, Teamwork, and Over Deliver Preferred knowledge, skills, and qualifications: Minimum 2‑3 years of TV/Radio/Digital news experience Minimum 2‑3 years of on‑air experience Bachelor’s degree or higher in Journalism or a related discipline Goal‑oriented and creative self‑starter Passion for teamwork and ability to work independently Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays Hours/Salary/Benefits This non‑exempt role offers a competitive base salary and overtime eligible for hours worked over 40 per week. The position will require some evenings and weekends.
