Rydell Auto Center is seeking a Body Shop Metal Technician. The technician performs metal repairs, including disassembling bumper covers and door covers, draining and refilling vehicle fluids, draining and recharging AC systems, and determining if a panel can be repaired or needs replacement.

Pay

SIGNING AND/OR RELOCATION BONUS of up to $10,000 based on experience

Guaranteed salary of $75,000/year for experienced applicants

Responsibilities

Stay up to date on the latest repair methods and techniques for the vehicles sold and serviced by the dealership

Perform all metal repairs according to estimate

Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy

Examine vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required Advise Body Shop Manager if additional work is needed

Operate all equipment in Body Shop in a safe and productive manner

Maintain his stall in an orderly and clean manner

Use discretion in using company materials and supplies

Ensure customer’s cars are kept clean

Document thy work performed as soon as the job is completed

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age

1-2 years of prior body work or shop experience

Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

High School Diploma or equivalent
