Position Summary The Shipping & Receiving professional manages daily inbound and outbound shipments, supports revenue-generating order fulfillment, and ensures accurate inventory levels at StemWave’s manufacturing and distribution facility in Woburn, MA.
What You'll Do:
Manage all shipping functions, including physically and systemically picking items for dispatch, creating required shipping documentation, and coordinating with external logistics providers to ensure timely pickup and delivery
Receive, log, and deliver all inbound materials
Perform periodic cycle counts and support physical inventory audits
Manage Finished Goods and Stockroom inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and applying lean concepts or best practices to consolidate, move, or redistribute inventory to optimize space utilization
Assist the Repair Department with the breakdown of received system hardware to accelerate turnaround to Finished Goods
Partner with Sales and Marketing to support the delivery of marketing collateral for trade shows, trainings, and other customer-facing events, including reverse logistics when applicable
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for RF Smart and NetSuite, supporting continuous improvement of system usage and effectiveness
Manage various consumable SKUs and collaborate with Procurement to ensure appropriate stocking levels
What We're Looking For:
A meticulous, high-energy individual with extensive experience in warehouse operations and shipping & receiving
Working knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and barcoding platforms (RF Smart preferred)
Experience working in a regulated environment (preferred)
Hands-on experience with logistics providers, shipping documentation, and third-party shipping platforms (e.g., FedEx, UPS)
Forklift certification is a plus
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to
50 pounds
on a regular basis
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods of time
Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, carts, ladders); forklift experience a plus (training provided if required)
Comfortable working in a warehouse/stockroom environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
Ability to use a computer and handheld scanning devices for inventory and shipping systems
