2025-19230**As a Mechanical Designer a typical day might include the following:*** Under close technical supervision, makes design changes and prepare Mechanical CAD deliverables.* Coordinate changes to existing designs.* Assist engineers in completing projects of varying complexity.* Create, update, and maintain project documentation such as BOMs, drawings, and Excel file.* Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.**Required Qualifications:*** Ability to demonstrate basic knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD drafting* Strong problem-solving skills* Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills* Ability to use Microsoft Excel at a functional level to support engineering documentation and analysis.* Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities* Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment* Strong mechanical aptitude with a desire to further develop technical knowledge.**Preferred Qualifications:*** Engineering Tech/CAD Tech degree or equivalent* Experience participating on project teams* 2 year experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks.**Location****Pullman, WA**- SEL corporate office is located in Eastern Washington where you'll enjoy an unmatched quality of life.
