Job Overview The Leasing Consultant executes the property's marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals by performing all activities related to leasing new residents, providing resident satisfaction throughout the lease term, and securing lease renewals.

Responsibilities

Perform all in Roc sales and leasing activities in person to achieve the property's revenue and occupancy goals by greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting property tours, processing applications, credit screening, and background checks, preparing lease and move‑in packages, and ensuring a smooth move‑in and lease signing. Complete various accounting, financial and administrative reports.

Design and execute off‑site marketing activities to create and drive traffic to the property, including resident referral and employer outreach programs, internet marketing tools, and social media.

Gather, analyze, and interpret market and economic trends that may impact the property and recommend improvements.

Handle lease enforcement processes – inspections, evictions, collections, and notifications as outlined in the lease agreement.

Follow up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction and finalize lease renewal decisions. Respond quickly and courteously to resident and client/owner concerns.

Maintain safety, cleanliness, and general appearance of the property, reporting mechanical or electrical issues and accidents.

Resolve customer complaints and issues.

Stay informed about market and competitor conditions, develop and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and follow the property's policies related to concessions and specials.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Hours and Environment LTE

Schedule: 40 hours per week.

Monday – Friday: 9am –.Editor-mile

Saturday: 10am – 5pm

Sunday: 1pm – 5pm

Essential Requirements

Must be available to work on weekends when scheduled.

Works in an office environment but also has frequent exposure to outside elements.

Qualifications Summary

Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

Experience: Property management, sales, marketing, and customer service background sufficient to manage the day‑to‑day operation of an apartment community.

Advanced Skills: Communication, presentation, and delivery skills; ability to connect with people at all levels.

Computer Skills: Internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs; property management software proficiency (Entrata, Yardi, or One Site).

License: Valid driver's license.

Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs independently and 50 lbs with assistance; required to stand, walk, and perform keyboard work intermittently.

Travel: Routine local travel may be required.
