Description Responsible for managing the design of mechanical products and packaging. Conducts testing and oversees documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Support the product design activity from concept to validation to manufacture mainly (but not restricted to) CAD/PLM/ERP activities.
Creates and reviews drawings that are used to create products, following the standards and norms defined by Franklin Electric.
Tests and resolves issues in products in all stages of the process. Ensuring the implementation of PLM and ERP duties as an engineering patience.
Verify the result and implementation of his designs searching for improvement opportunities.
Works with external vendors and regulatory agencies.
Provides support to other staff and departments as necessary.
Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
Participate in engineering forums related to CAD/ERP/PLM activities at the regional level.
King's collects and share design lessons learned.
Keeps up to date with industry design tools and best practices.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Writes routine reports and correspondence.
