Leasing Consultant Qualifications
2+ years of property leasing experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced team environment
Comfortable showing and leasing apartments, answering phones, greeting prospects
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word) and ability to learn Yardi software
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Leasing Consultant Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service to residents and prospects, maintaining a positive attitude
Deliver a professional and engaging experience during apartment and community tours
Maintain resident retention and resolve resident conflicts and problems
Develop strong rapport with residents and enforce community rules and regulations when necessary
Process applications, lease renewals, and complete all related paperwork accurately and correctly
Proactively manage sales, outreach, and lead generation
Work with maintenance to ensure apartment turnovers are completed on time
Recognize opportunities for problem resolution and establish good customer relations
Identify trends in customer issues and advise management
