Job Description:
Weare seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient CAD Technician tobe located on-site at a high-profile infrastructure project. The idealcandidate will play a key role in supporting the field and engineeringteams with the development of as-built drawings, design revisions, andconstruction submittals. This is a hands-on position requiring closecoordination with field staff, engineers, and quality control personnel.
KeyResponsibilities:
Developand update as-built drawings based on field markups and redlines.
Create and revise constructiondrawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD (or Civil 3D).
Assist in preparing andformatting technical submittals required by the client or regulatorybodies.
Ensure all drawings comply withproject specifications, standards, and client requirements.
Maintain an organizedrepository of drawings and documentation.
Coordinate with fieldengineers, surveyors, and inspectors to capture real-time updates.
Attendproject coordination meetings and provide CAD support as needed.
PreferredQualifications:
Experienceworking on DOT, USACE, or public infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of constructionworkflows, submittal procedures, and project documentation practices.
Priorexposure to field coordination or working with design/build teams.
Requirements
RequiredQualifications:
Proficiencyin AutoCAD, Civil 3D (preferred), or other CAD software.
Minimum 2 years of experiencein a construction or infrastructure environment.
Familiarity with as-builtdocumentation processes.
Ability to interpret civil,structural, or MEP drawings.
Strong attention to detail andaccuracy.
Effective communication anddocumentation skills.
Mustbe able to work independently at the project site with minimalsupervision.
