About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Sales and Service for its Life Sciences division. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading the North American commercial organization, encompassing direct sales, field service, technical support, and applications development. This executive role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence across a diverse life sciences tools portfolio. Key responsibilities include the development and execution of strategic and tactical sales plans, managing a large, multi-layered organization, and owning full P&L responsibility. The role also involves close collaboration with marketing, supply chain, operations, and senior leadership to ensure alignment in strategy, execution, and talent development.

Applicants must have a Master’s degree in a life science discipline, with an MBA strongly preferred, and a minimum of 15 years of experience in sales within a scientific or life sciences organization. A proven track record of at least 8 years in leading large-scale sales and service organizations in the life sciences tools or diagnostics space is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing full sales operations, including field service, technical support, and applications development, and a demonstrated ability to lead large teams with significant P&L responsibility. Experience in global, matrixed environments, and a history of talent development and organizational scaling are also required. The role demands a leader with strong financial acumen, the ability to travel extensively, and a willingness to be based in or relocate to the U.S. East Coast region.
