Job Description Co‑create technical proposals for US federal government customers seeking Oracle Cloud services and task‑order solutions. Capture and organize content from subject matter experts across Oracle and present it in a clear, compliant, compelling format for technical and non‑technical audiences. Drive compliance with client requirements across internal response teams. Become an internal expert on Oracle GDI’s proposal process, identify process enhancements, support response teams, manage document versions across systems, and employ superior written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Write technical proposals for US federal government customers.

Capture and organize content from subject matter experts.

Identify and document client requirements and ensure compliance.

Become an internal GDI proposal process expert.

Identify and implement process enhancements.

Support response teams in online and in‑person efforts.

Manage multiple document versions across separate systems.

Employ superior written and verbal communication skills with attention to grammar, formatting, and Oracle writing practices.

Experience

Required:

Minimum of four years’ experience as a technical writer in industry.

Desired:

Minimum of six years’ experience as a technical writer in industry.

Education and Certifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

Desired:

APMP Foundation Level Certification or higher.

Security Clearance Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret / Top‑Secret Security Clearance to work with the US Federal government.

Location Remote position with the candidate willing to travel to the Reston, VA Office a few times quarterly.

Compensation USD $37.88 – $60.63 per hour (annualized USD $78,800 – $126,100). Eligible for equity and commission (estimated 70/30 pay mix).
