Merchandiser Position
PepsiCo is offering a merchandiser position with a sign-on bonus. The position is labor intensive, requiring lifting, loading, pushing, and pulling cases weighing from 20-45 pounds per case, as well as bending, reaching, and squatting while merchandising and moving products. Primary responsibilities include merchandising store shelving, coolers, and displays with products, rotating products in the backroom and on the shelf, transporting products to and from backroom to shelf location, using equipment to transport products, displaying promotional material, keeping back room stock in neat and orderly condition, communicating store issues to store managers and Pepsi management, building customer relationships at the store level, complying with operating procedures, servicing accounts during designated times, delivering customer service, operating under minimal supervision, using handheld devices to write/input orders, and maintaining regular, reliable, predictable attendance. Basic qualifications include being 18 years or older, passing the physical capabilities test (if applicable), having car or personal transportation to access multi-store locations within assigned shift, holding a valid U.S. Drivers License, and providing proof of insurance. Helpful experience includes working for a retail business or grocery store, moving products within a store, merchandising products, managing backroom/stock room inventory, and serving customers.
