We Hire Direct Support Professionals (DSP) willing to make a difference in someone's life by providing companionship, care, and support.

We Need InReach needs a DSP (Independent Contractor) for an adult female individual with developmental disabilities in Union County area of Weddington/Waxhaw, NC. Staff will provide community living and support services for 3 days per week (Mon, Wed,udir: Fri).

Responsibilities

Get individual out into community (light meal prep and feeding; light housekeeping organization).

CNA is highly preferred; but not required.

Use of vehicle is provided when out in community.

Must be able to lift, transfer, and handle a wheelchair.

Must be able to handle personal care needs.

Schedule Monday, Wednesday and Friday (8amoutes training: 4pm). Potential for full 40 hours per week with some flexibility.

Pay Rate $20.35/hrрож

What You'll Do

Instruction and assistance in home living environments.

Help individual identify and acquire valued social roles.

Facilitate community integration.

Dispense medication and monitor dosages.

Transport and accompany individual to and from day programs, work sites_codes, and community activities.

Eligibility All InReach applicants must have a high school diploma (or GED), a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a drug screen and background check. One to two years of experience with the I/DD population preferred.

Independent Contractor Information This DSP position is an Independent Contractor position. Independent Contractors receive a 1099 tax form and use a third‑party Contract Management vendor for their direct deposits. Additional fees required for Contractors include paying for state‑required training, wander accident insurance, and administrative fees for the Contract Management vendor.
