Position Summary Acuren Inspection is looking for a Rope Access Technician to support our operations. Preference will be given to candidates with an NDT or mechanical trades background.
The Rope Access Technician is responsible for managing the safety of crews engaged in rope access activities, organizing work functions specific to rope access jobs, and supervising crews performing a broad range of technical and/or industrial services at heights. The role ensures individual and organizational compliance with IRATA standards and regulations to ensure the safe and effective performance of work.
Responsibilities
Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
Be conversant with relevant work techniques
Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of a Level 1 Rope Access Technician
Assist other technicians as required
Ensure operational safety of all equipment
Requirements
Reside locally in the Beaumont area
Rope Access Certification I, II, or III required ngadto
Painter, Insulator, Boilermaker, or Pipefitter (one or a combination of these) required
NCCER Certification required
IRATA or SPRAT Level I Certification required, including proficiency in theoretical knowledge, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and rescue/hauling
Valid driver’s verpleeg preferred
Required certification levels for specific projects
Must have industrial refinery experience_Client on professional standards
Must have mechanical industrial experience
Preferred individual with the NCCER certification (Trained Individual)
