Description of Primary Duties The Office of Education Abroad at Missouri State University is seeking a creative, organized, and self‑motivated Social Media Coordinator to support the development, maintenance, and growth of our social media presence. This role plays a key part in increasing visibility and student engagement by curating student stories, managing a predictable content calendar, and executing a streamlined posting strategy.
This position centers on content curation and content creation and requires close collaboration with Education Abroad staff, faculty, and students to capture and share authentic study abroad experiences.
Required Qualifications
Strong initiative with the ability to work independently.
Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills.
Experience with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with Canva and basic video editing tools (or willingness to learn).
Comfortable conducting brief interviews and requesting content from students.
Photography and videography experience.
Attention to detail and ability to meet weekly deadlines.
Additional Qualifications Familiarity with creating content for შეგხმ Instagram (primary student platform), TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
