Sales Counselor
Westminster Communities of Florida, a nationally recognized, faith-based, not-for-profit organization, is seeking experienced and dynamic Sales Counselors to join our team in St. Petersburg, Florida. These high-impact roles are responsible for working with the Sales Director to conduct lead reviews, set goals and strategize sales plans to help us fulfill our mission of serving older adults with excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys building connections, guiding older adults and families through important decisions, and helping prospective residents find the right lifestyle and care setting. We have two openings in St. Petersburg for Sales Counselors: Westminster Palms: Sales Counselor for Assisted Living and Independent Living
This role supports sales efforts for both Independent Living (IL) and Assisted Living (AL). This role manages inquiries, tours, follow-ups, and move-ins while maintaining excellent relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders.
Westminster Suncoast: Sales Counselor for Assisted Living with a focus on outreach
The role focuses primarily on Assisted Living sales and will include external outreach to build relationships with professional referral partners and community resources. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable flexing into Independent Living sales support as needed to support the Sales Director.
Essential Job Functions: Manage the sales process from inquiry through tour, deposit, and move-in to achieve occupancy goals. Provide prospective residents and families with accurate, timely community information through visits, assessments, and follow-up. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective/current residents to understand needs and guide decision-making. Assist prospective residents in selecting, visiting, and inspecting housing units and care setting options (IL and/or AL). Meet or exceed sales expectations, including closing tours and supporting a positive customer experience from start to finish. Enter new leads, update current prospect activity, and maintain accurate CRM data daily. Maintain consistent follow-up activity on tours, leads, and open inquiries according to company expectations. Participate in lead review meetings, goal setting, and sales plan strategy with the sales team and Director of Sales. Support external marketing efforts and build referral relationships (hospitals, physicians, community partners, and local resources). Conduct outreach and develop referral sources through ongoing appointments and community engagement to generate qualified leads. Communicate regularly with internal leadership and appropriate stakeholders regarding inventory/availability and move-in planning.
