Davidson, NC (CSC) BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY

This role leads the strategic development of proposal content by optimizing program workflows, surfacing new company solutions, and integrating updates into the team content library. It builds strong SME partnerships to ensure consistent, high‑quality responses, and drives proactive collaboration across teams. The position governs the Proposal Library's structure, optimizing library organization, searchability, and updating cadence. The Content Strategist fulfills proposal support requests as needed, oversees seller guide sheets, workflow improvements, and program education initiatives. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Integrate AI-driven strategies into the team's content library to streamline proposal workflows, enhance content effectiveness, and identify opportunities for efficiency. Extract new content from submitted proposal responses, integrate it into the system, and share updates with the team. Review seller proposal requests to flag new or complex topics and market trends. Monitor key resources, such as MSC Connect, company website, seller insights, solution owners, and presentations to gather relevant and timely content. Build and maintain strong relationships with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure responsive and accurate support across all proposal categories. Coordinate interviews and speaker sessions to bring insights to MSC solutions and capabilities, developing feature stories and data insights. Maintain the integrity of the Proposal Library, ensuring intuitive organization and streamlined, targeted responses. Schedule and lead regular SME reviews to validate and align content with evolving business needs. Support proposal writers by connecting with the right SME for specialized content and updating the system with new information. Implement a quick-response proposal support program to efficiently process DSRs that do not require a strategy call. Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required. Serve as a backup contributor for full proposal responses when workload demands support. Participate in seller onboarding and communication of best practices to help sellers optimize their requests and help the team improve workflow efficiency. Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to fulfill MSC's mission. QUALIFICATIONS WHAT YOU NEED

Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or equivalent professional experience. Over 5 years of proven success in proposal development, content strategy, or business development within deadline‑driven environments. Proven ability to excel in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments while maintaining high customer service standards. Advanced analytical skills supporting proposal development and content strategy. Outstanding time management, project coordination, and interpersonal skills. Bonus Points If You Have: Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or inventory management environments. Background in developing training guides and supporting educational programs. Familiarity with system architecture and search optimization. Other Requirements: A valid driver's license. This position may require access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations Information (ITAR) and/or Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Compensation Starting at $72,000 - $105,000 depending on Lü experience. The salary range is based on similar roles in comparable industries and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
