Inside Sales Account Manager

Inside Sales is responsible for the sale of the organization's products and services within an assigned customer base designated by management. This position reports to the Sales Director. Responsibilities include developing and increasing sales revenue to meet assigned targets as designated by management. The role involves inside sales, closing sales, quote generation, new business generation, prospecting, and consulting of technical support. Utilize SAP for quoting, customer notes, customer profile information, and price lists. Collaborate with Marketing to maintain CRM with real-time call reports and follow-up activities. Work with Regional Sales to prospect a defined territory assigned by management. Provide consistent contact with existing customers and qualify new opportunities to grow market share. Develop product and technical industry knowledge to effectively support customer needs and business growth. Act as a technical resource to clients; assist with negotiations and closing the sale. Participate in education and training programs. Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Environmental Services to support customer needs and develop a customer turnkey strategy. Essential Skills include customer service, inside sales, sales support, business development, a go-getter personality and drive, passion or interest in sales, previous experience working with customers, competitive spirit, proficiency in multi-tasking, comfort with heights, account management, prospecting, and logistics. Additional Skills & Qualifications include background in sales or business development, technical experience in a related field (engineering, environmental), a bachelor's degree in a related field and/or 3-5 years industrial manufacturing sales or technical experience, proficient computer skills in SAP and Microsoft Office, and a valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle and satisfactory motor vehicle report. Work Environment: This is a full-time, exempt position located fully on-site at the Hebron, KY location, with relocation to a brand new facility in Greendale, Indiana in December 2026. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Very little travel is expected, mostly for training purposes, with opportunities to move into more external sales positions if desired. The role requires comfort with heights, ranging from 10 ft to 200 ft, during client site visits. Job Type & Location: This is a contract to hire position based out of Hebron, KY. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
