Senior Product Designer

Candidate Note:
This position is 100% remote for candidates based in the US.
Responsibilities
Identify and define problems, uncover gaps in product definitions, and apply user‑centered design principles to enhance relevance.
Stay current with industry trends and integrate cutting‑edge insights to drive product innovation.
Clearly explain project goals and context when presenting work to stakeholders.
Design visually compelling, intuitive interfaces using Gestalt principles and industry best practices; achieve pixel‑perfect execution.
Produce interactive prototypes that bring concepts to life for stakeholders and engineers.
Manage and evolve the EDB design system to ensure consistency and coherence across all product interfaces.
Conduct rigorous usability testing, analyze user insights, and refine designs based on direct feedback and data.
Participate in design team meetings and critiques, providing actionable, constructive feedback to peers.
Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to ensure shared clarity and common understanding across projects.
Qualifications
5+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio of complex applications.
Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate design – using them to synthesize technical requirements and create rapid prototypes.
Proven ability to contribute to, manage, and evolve design systems.
Experience planning and executing comprehensive usability testing sessions and translating findings into design improvements.
Strong ability to articulate design decisions to non‑designers.
Demonstrated history of fostering inclusive team environments and enthusiasm for new challenges.
