One of our non‑profit clients is looking for a freelance Paid Social Strategist to support their team on the optimization and analytics side of paid media – primarily Facebook/Instagram, maybe some LinkedIn.
The freelance Paid Social Strategist will be focused on performance, tracking, and technical setup, not creative or content; and stepping in to help audit what the client is currently doing and where they can optimize their paid social spend to drive awareness and event registrations.
Ideal Freelance Paid Social Strategist Candidates Will Have
Strong hands‑on experience with Meta Ads Manager
Deep understanding of paid social analytics, attribution, and optimization
Experience setting up and managing event‑based conversion tracking
Comfortable working in a consultative role alongside an internal team
Up‑to‑date on platform changes and best practices
Nice To Have
GA4, CRM, or marketing automation integration experience
B2B or event‑driven campaign experience
Job Responsibilities
Audit our current paid social setup and campaign structure in Meta Ads Manager
Improve and/or implement conversion tracking, including tying paid social efforts to event registrations
Support or advise on Meta Pixel and Conversions API (CAPI) setup and troubleshooting
Make clear recommendations to improve campaign performance, attribution, and ROI
Help the team navigate ongoing changes to Meta’s tools and dashboards
Provide optimization guidance across FB/IG and LinkedIn Ads
Hybrid onsite for meetings/1:1 consultation
