JOB SUMMARY: The Ohio Peterbilt Outside Parts Sales Rep is responsible for growing sales with assigned accounts and new customers by establishing strong customer relationships through consistent in-person sales calls, managing accounts with excellent communication, and collaborating with management, team members, and other departments to ensure premium customer service. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience: Three to five years of experience with heavy-duty parts is preferred. Additional: Must reside in the territory at the time of the position start; a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. KEY COMPETENCIES: Strong Communicator: possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-starter & Problem-solver: with strong time management and organizational skills. Customer Service Excellence: Providing outstanding service to all customers both internally and externally, and maintaining a positive attitude. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including Microsoft applications. Technical & Mechanical Skills: has a strong mechanical aptitude and strong sales skills. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Manual Dexterity: Regular repetitive use of hands, wrists, and fingers will be required. Must be able to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination, including the use of a computer keyboard. Mobility: Frequently required to sit or stand for prolonged periods. Occasionally, you will stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist. May ascend and descend stairs frequently and climb into machines. Strength: May occasionally lift and/or move light to moderate amounts of weight. Work Environment: Noise levels can range from quiet in office settings to moderate or loud in other situations, with sudden loud noises possible.
