Under the general supervision of the Recreation Supervisor, this position is responsible for daily customer service needs, assisting and leading recreational programming, and supporting contracted classes, rentals, camps and operations at various facilities.
Monitors one or more assigned recreation activities or sports at an assigned recreation area.
Assists with data collection and reporting; tracks participant numbers for individual programs; collects and processes program surveys; prepares and submits reports; and processes and files documents as necessary.
Creates weekly plans for facility set up and breakdown needs, gathers necessary equipment and materials, and provides associated logistical support.
Supports camp operations by assisting with themes, agendas and activities.
Assists with coordination and instruction of programming and activities.
Provides front line services at various parks and facilities, including data entry, registrations, facility rentals, collecting fees, concession services (if applicable) and generating associated reports.
Completes point of sale, admission, pass and membership sale transactions following cash handling protocols encoder.
Receives and responds to inquiries and provides general information to patrons and public.
Monitors activities, programs, rentals and enforces park and facility rules to ensure a safe environment.
Ensures that medical assistance is readily available, including CPR, First Aid, and follows appropriate reporting requirements when necessary.
Assists with opening, closing, and securing facilities in compliance with policies and procedures.
Performs light housekeeping.
Inspects equipment and facilities for proper condition, cleanliness and safety and maintains quality appearance of work site.
Monitors inventory and efficiently utilizes materials and supplies, notifying supervisor of any deficiencies or shortages.
Follows proper health, safety and sanitation procedures as riêng.
Assists with special events and specialty projects as needed.
Supports Department marketing and outreach efforts.
Observes rotating weekend schedule to support rentals, programs, and outreach opportunities.

Skilled in using computers for data entry, word processing, spreadsheet creation and accounting purposes.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and some holidays.
Ability to understand and enforce rules and regulations.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions and maintain simple records.
Ability to communicate clearly andನ್်\ rather effectively with other employees and the public.
Ability to think clearly in emergency situations when necessary.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent.
Three (3)drawer relevant experience in the Parks & Recreation field.
(A comparable amount of rele vars training, education and/or experience may be substituted for the above qualifications.)
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Florida driver’s license by date of hire.
EMERGENCY RESPONSE RESPONSIBILITY Every City employee has emergency response responsibilities, though not every position will require routine assignments during an emergency event. All employees are subject to recall around the clock for emergency response operations, which may require irregular work hours, work at locations other than the normal work location 海南天天中彩票. Assignments in support of emergency operations may be extensive in nature, with little advance notice, and may require employees to relocate to emergency sites with incompatible conditions.
