Role - Copywriter with long‑form

Location - Chicago, IL/ Atlanta, GA/ New York - Hybrid

We are looking for a strategically minded mid‑level

Copywriter

who can concept and execute short and long form copy for advertising and marketing channels across multiple clients, projects, and deadlines.

Our ideal candidate will have held previous roles in a creative function either at an agency, professional services firm, or a client's internal production department and with experience supporting insurance industry communications.

The candidate must demonstrate a strong knowledge of the overall marketing landscape, commitment to craft, and an eye for detail.

Responsibilities

Write clear, compelling, and audience‑appropriate copy for a U.S. audience, under the supervision of a Capgemini creative director

Develop long‑form content including (but not limited to) whitepapers, brochures, research projects, blog posts, and other educational thought leadership assets

Adapt a single core topic or message for multiple audiences (e.g., financial professionals vs. consumers) while maintaining message integrity and consistent brand voice

Partner closely with designers (Capgemini and client‑side) to help craft cohesive digital and print materials

Collaborate extensively with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Compliance, and Legal partners to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to regulatory standards

Utilize industry best practices to inform copywriting decisions and elevate content quality

Interface with Capgemini Project Managers, designers, and proofreaders to implement revisions during internal reviews

When needed, interface directly with client stakeholders to help defend messaging decisions and discuss revisions

Take ownership of assignments from concept through completion, maintaining quality and consistency throughout.

Qualifications

Financial services industry client experience

Must present a portfolio of client copywriting work that demonstrates an ability to absorb, interpret, and apply client/internal direction

Previous experience in print and digital marketing projects

Fluency in Microsoft Office applications

Familiarity with the role of accessibility in writing a plus

Self‑motivated and organized

Should thrive in a collaborative environment, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work under tight deadlines and strict brand standards.
