Graphic Designer (Beauty Industry)

Mario Badescu Skin Care – Edison, NJ Mario Badescu Skin Care is seeking an experienced in-house graphic designer for a full-time position in our Edison, NJ office. We are looking for a graphic designer with experience in the beauty space to support projects for various departments. This includes and is not limited to, Marketing, POS, Social Media graphics, advertising, and packaging. This is a great opportunity for a dynamic and flexible designer to play a key role in Mario Badescu’s creative development. Beauty industry design experience is a must. Requirements: Expert proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator This position supports multiple departments — applicant must be able to multi-task and prioritize assignments Must be a team player who enjoys working within the dynamic of a family-owned business Versatility — must be able to provide variations on assignments for owners and departments to choose from Flexibility – applicant must be able to interpret direction from others as well as conceptualize and execute creative concepts independently Must have strong communication skills Must be able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision Responsibilities: Graphics for website and e-mail newsletters Design training materials Ability to assist with product photography is a BIG plus, but not required Knowledge of HTML/CSS are a plus, but we do have in-house programmers Illustration skills are also a plus, but not required Product packaging and label design is a PLUS, but the vast majority of the day-to-day work in this role will be web and print graphics If you are interested in this position, please provide us with the following: Your resume (DOC or PDF format, please) If you have a cover letter, please attach it to the e-mail in PDF or DOC format – Do NOT paste cover letter in the body of the e-mail
