The Commercial/EDU/Govt Sales Associate plays an important role in driving departmental growth while delivering an exceptional client experience. This position is ideal for someone who will enjoy working with both current and prospective clients, values clear and timely communication, and takes pride in building strong, long-term relationships. In this role, you will manage customer and vendor interactions, provide updates on order status, respond promptly to requests for quotes and inquiries, and help uphold the “white glove” service standard that sets the Company apart.
Key Responsibilities
Provide outstanding customer service during every contact with customers/vendors.
Keep track of existing orders, backorders, and quotes.
Seek out new business with commercial studios , government entities, and schools.
Visit clients to maintain relationships, conduct product demos, and answer questions.
Identify client needs and provide suggestions for solutions.
Strive for accuracy in all daily activities of accounting, inventory, and product knowledge.
Maintain technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in online training / workshops.
Qualifications Required
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
2+ years of sales experience required. Sales related to cameras/video production preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Desired
Experience with POS software (CounterPoint) preferred.
Familiarity with photo, video, and audio equipment preferred.
Experience driving large trucks/vehicles.
Working Environment
This position will require travel up to 20%.
This position will work in an office environment with off-site visits to potential and existing clients.
This position will include working at a computer, sitting at a desk, answering phone calls, and emails up to 80% of the time.
