Responsibilities The Key Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing customer specific strategies aligned with the North American sales strategy. Key responsibilities include:
Own and manage a major OEM customer relationship, acting as a trusted advisor
Build strong relationships across multiple levels within customer organizations
Communicate product capabilities, technology roadmaps, and new program opportunities
Lead RFQ activity from pre-quote through award and program launch
Manage customer portals, CRM tools, and market intelligence resources
Own account financials, sales strategy presentations, and customer negotiations
Support launch, quality, engineering, and manufacturing-related customer issues
Domestic and international travel as required
Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or Marketing
5+ years of experience managing or supporting General Motors as a customer
Experience selling or supporting highly engineered automotive products preferred
Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
