Wheaton Point and The Gables are seeking an Occupancy Specialist to join our team! Wheaton Point and The Gables are Springpoint Senior Living Affordable Housing Communities located in East Windsor, NJ & Princeton Junction, NJ. We are seeking a full-time Occupancy Specialist to oversee the occupancy responsibilities as set forth by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and Tax Credit programs. Responsibilities include: Preparing for yearly file audits and reviews by internal and external parties. Coordinating the assignments of subsidies, unit transfers, and move out/move-ins. Completing monthly tenant re-certifications. Organizing and preparing resident files. Responding to tenants and applicant questions and inquiries and addressing any issues that arise in an accurate and timely manner. Education and experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 2 years Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) and Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) experience preferred.
