Base pay range $142,000.00/yr - $254,000.00/yr

We are looking for a Branch Executive who will work with key brokers to represent the Global Risk Solutions (GRS) brand and all business segments within, including Major Accounts, Middle Market and Specialty (inclusive of Ironshore US), for an assigned territory. The Branch Executive will partner with internal leadership across all segments to foster communication and partnership, ensuring GRS approaches the market in a cohesive manner and drives ease of doing business for broker partners.

Responsibilities

Clearly understand and articulate the underwriting appetite and business strategy of all facets of GRS within the marketplace.

Foster mutually beneficial relationships with brokers in your assigned region and drive profitable growth.

Lead all aspects of development for broker‑ or client‑facing marketing communication plans, including communications and events.

Structure and lead cross‑sell initiatives that align with regional growth plans and market opportunities.

Prospect and develop new broker relationships, identifying new areas of opportunity.

Align with overall GRS strategy, working with peers, business, and Regional Distribution Executives to develop strategies that support GWP, new business, submission, and retention targets.

Drive internal collaboration, encouraging an environment focused on shared GRS success.

Maintain close relations with business leaders and underwriting organization, keeping communication channels clear to ensure alignment and keep executive management informed of areas of concern and/or opportunity.

Qualifications

10+ years of relevant insurance industry experience.

Underwriting experience.

Strong relationships with senior leadership at key brokerages.

Strong understanding of product offerings and relationships with profit‑center leadership.

Business development and sales skills.

Leadership skills – ability to influence without authority.

Interpersonal/social skills – able to foster trusted relationships.

People‑management skills – able to nurture professional growth and foster team effectiveness.

Undergraduate degree preferred.

Travel required – 10‑15%.

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
