Job Summary:

The Outside Sales Representative at Holt Industrial Rentals focuses on generating sales, developing customer relationships, and expanding our customer base. This role is responsible for maintaining and growing existing relationships, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, meeting sales targets, and providing legendary customer service to ensure long‑term client satisfaction.

Essential Functions:

Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission.

Sales Prospecting: Identify and reach out to potential clients through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and other sales techniques to generate new business opportunities.

Lead Qualification: Qualify and prioritize leads based on their needs, budget, and potential to convert into long‑term clients.

Product/Service Presentation: Effectively present and demonstrate our products/services to potential clients, tailoring solutions to meet their specific needs.

Sales Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales while maintaining profitability and client satisfaction.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting relationships with new and existing clients, offering support and ensuring they are satisfied with the products/services.

Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and quotas, contributing to overall company growth and success.

Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to effectively position products smo and services to meet client needs.

Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, customer support, and product teams to align sales efforts and ensure seamless customer experiences.

Reporting Bays: Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress towards targets using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).

Work safely always and adhere to all applicable safety policies; comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education and Experience:

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Travel:

Extensive driving required; overnight travel required.

Valid driver’s license required.

Physical Requirements:

This position involves extended periods in a stationary position; occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc.

Communicates frequently with others and must exchange accurate information in these situations.

Uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Job performed in a retail and office environment; exposure to computer screens, noise, dust, grease, fumes, gases, heat, cold, and inclement weather.

Frequently works at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.
