Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in manufacturing, technical sales, and project management. The ideal candidate will have expertise in nuclear manufacturing or supply chain environments and possess exceptional technical writing and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage quotations for complex manufacturing projects. Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and nuclear QA documentation. Prepare comprehensive technical proposals, narratives, and bid packages. Support manufacturing planning and translate customer requirements into internal processes. Participate in manufacturability reviews, engineering change reviews, and strategic project planning. Provide technical support during customer meetings and present company capabilities. Build and maintain long-term customer relationships across departments. Occasional travel for customer visits, project development, and industry events. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred (other engineering disciplines or equivalent experience considered). Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing, sales engineering, quoting, or technical project management. Strong preference for experience in nuclear manufacturing or nuclear supply chain environments. Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC machining, fabrication, engineering services). Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and nuclear QA documentation. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with nuclear compliance frameworks (NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, ASME Section IX, AWS D1.1, 10 CFR 21). Skills: Strong technical writing ability for proposals and correspondence. Analytical skills for cost modeling, labor/material calculations, and risk assessment. Exceptional communication, organization, and relationship management skills. Preferred Skills: Sales and technical sales experience. Manufacturing process knowledge. Technical writing and proposal development. Ability to manage multiple concurrent quotations and projects. Job Type & Location: This is a permanent position based out of Chattanooga, TN. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $125,000.00/yr. PTO Holiday Medical, Dental, Vision Workplace Type: This is a fully onsite position in Chattanooga, TN.
