Amassing over 2.5 million subscribers and over 3 billion views in 3 years, our hit show Financial Audit is one of the fastest growing channels on the internet. DollarWise leverages the insights and lessons from the show to provide practical tools and resources that empower people to build better financial habits. Together, the Hammer Media brand and DollarWise platform are creating a powerful ecosystem for financial literacy, accountability, and long‑term growth.
Hammer Media is looking for a Social Media Manager who lives and breathes short‑form content. You will develop and lead our social media strategy across our podcast and brand ecosystem, owning the entire organic social pipeline — from content planning and publishing to community management and performance optimization.
This role requires a rare mix of analytical thinking, creative instinct, and strategic execution.
This role is based in our Austin, TX office and requires you to be in the office five days a week.
What You’ll Do
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our podcast and brand growth goals Own the daily content pipeline across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X — from creation to posting to performance optimization Collaborate with the creative team to plan content for the month ahead based on performance data, upcoming launches, and trending opportunities Drive promotion of affiliates and internal products through engaging, high‑impact social content that converts Contribute to broader marketing initiatives including campaigns, product launches, partnerships Monitor platform trends and leverage insights to continuously optimize content performance and grow the audience Create and publish 1–3 short‑form pieces of content per day based on performance strategy Track and report on key metrics weekly: follower growth rate, engagement rate, and click‑through rates on product CTAs Collaborate closely with the production and marketing teams to amplify key episodes, assist with any special projects, and make sure content is aligned with any promotions and campaigns we have running Who You Are
2 to 4 years of experience managing organic social media for a B2C audience Proven ability to create short‑form video content that drives measurable results (follower growth, engagement, conversions) Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, X, and Snapchat best practices, including platform trends, analytics, and audience behavior Strong copywriting instincts for short‑form content — you know how to write hooks that stop the scroll and CTAs that drive action Ability to spot trends early and adapt them to fit the Caleb Hammer brand voice Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, high‑growth startup environment where priorities shift and speed matters without sacrificing quality What Will Set You Apart
You have worked for a personal finance brand, creator‑led business, or fintech company before You have experience repurposing long‑form podcast or video content into high‑performing short clips using video creation tools; Capcut, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc You understand the financial education space and the psychology of what makes people engage with money content You can show a portfolio of short‑form content that went viral or significantly outperformed benchmarks You have a track record of growing social accounts from scratch or taking existing accounts to the next level What We Offer
