The Opportunity The CAD Designer will support the Retail Services business by creating and distributing Conceptual Design Packages based upon project needs for corporate ground-up and acquisitions, franchise locations, or special projects. These packages differ based upon project type but include Conceptual Site Plans, Site Overlays, Site戒 Criteria Checklists, Floor Plans, Reflected Ceiling Plans, Low Voltage Plans, Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plans and Exterior Renderings. This position will also be responsible for coordination of each Conceptual Design Package with Scopes of Work and other due diligence items such as survey and title documents to ensure project consistency.

The CAD Designer will play a role in maintaining and distributing all Prototype documents and files for all internal partners as well as external resources on a quarterly basis.

The CAD Designer will also be instrumental in setting and maintaining all CAD Standards and file naming conventions for VIOC Retail Services. The position must be fluent in AutoCAD & Photoshop, have a good understanding of imperial and metric systems, be able to read and interpret Civil, Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing drawings, have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project), ability to travel less than 10% of the time.

The CAD Designer must be able to work in an open (remote) team environment and be able to collaborate with internal and external team members effectively to keep projects moving efficiently through the development process.

Responsibilities 1.Creation of Conceptual Design Package

Review due diligence documents along with the scope of work to prepare packages.

Collaborate with internal team including acquisition project manager.

Coordinate with outside A/E firms as needed on projects.

2.Creation & Management of VIOC CAD / Design Standards

Collaborate with development team to develop standards for design packages.

3.Cross-functional Collaboration

Collaborate with real estate, operations, construction, and facilities teams to ensure consistent alignment.

Maintain positive and professional working relationships with both internal stakeholders 政 And external partners.

4.Assist in Developing & Maintaining Design Guide

Collaborate with development team to research building material specification options.

5.Special Projects / Exhibits / Design Sketches

Create exhibits needed for lease documentation and/or Landlord / Review Board approval.

Other duties 動 responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion

Architectural CAD Designer will interact with all levels of the Retail Development group along with external Architects and Engineers.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.

2+ years of experience in a design related position preferred

Experience working with commercial retail projects is preferred.

AutoCAD – Recent Version

Photoshop – Recent Version

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Knowledge of Lucernex and Bluebeam is a plus

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Must be authorized to work in the United States
