At Palo Alto Networks everything starts and ends with our mission: Being the cybersecurity partner of choice, protecting our digital way of life. Our vision is a world where each day is safer and more secure than the one before. We are a company built on the foundation of challenging and disrupting the way things are done, and we're looking for innovators who are as committed to shaping the future of cybersecurity as we are. You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring customers have the perfect architectural blueprint and resource team to achieve total success with our platform. Key responsibilities include: Partner with Services Sales Managers to develop and execute strategies that drive the adoption of Professional Services across core and specialized account teams. Lead high-impact, executive-level transformation workshops, challenging customer thinking and demonstrating the business value of our security platform. Architect comprehensive service solutions and translate complex technical features into clear, compelling business outcomes for C-level audiences. Develop detailed architectural blueprints, Statements of Work (SOWs), and multi-year service roadmaps that align with customer objectives and ensure successful implementation. Act as the primary technical and strategic advisor for professional services during the pre-sales cycle, building trust and ensuring alignment between sales and delivery teams. Proactively collaborate and exchange information with product, sales, and delivery teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from pre-sale to post-sale. Create and present detailed technical documentation, including project timelines and resource plans, to both sales and delivery stakeholders. Qualifications
Required qualifications include: 8+ years of experience in security, infrastructure, or cloud technologies, with a minimum of 4 years in a pre-sales, consultative, or sales architect role. Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent military experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to present complex technical information to both technical and executive audiences. Demonstrated experience creating technical sales documentation, such as Statements of Work (SOWs), project timelines, and service roadmaps. Experience leading customer-facing discovery workshops to identify business requirements and technical challenges. Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed for client engagements and team meetings. Preferred qualifications include: Previous quota-carrying sales experience and a history of successful engagement with channel partners. Strong practical knowledge of security infrastructure (Firewalls, VPNs, Proxies), public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and SOC operations. Practical understanding of core networking concepts, including routing and switching. Palo Alto Networks certifications (e.g., PCNSA, PCNSE) or other relevant industry certifications.
