Scotland Producer – ITV News (Maternity cover)

About the Role ITV News is looking for a producer to lead Scotland coverage on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave.
The Scotland Producer will be based in Scotland and will work closely with the newsgathering team to produce all aspects of coverage across Scotland.
The successful candidate will have detailed knowledge of Scotland, experience of covering big stories, a passion for covering breaking news and a hunger to drive exclusive journalism. The job requires someone who works well as part of a team, enjoys working on the road, and can cover a broad range of stories.
Responsibilities
Lead and produce Scotland coverage factionally to cover maternity leave.
Work closely with the newsgathering team to produce all aspects of coverage across Scotland.
Qualifications
Detailed knowledge of Scotland.
Experience covering big stories.
Passion for covering breaking news.

Strong teamwork skills and ability to work on the road.
