Field Sales Representatives at AT&T are driven to connect – every interaction is an opportunity to introduce the latest technology and services. The role thrives on the challenge of meeting sales goals and offers uncapped commission potential, allowing top earners to reach $100 000.
Salary & Compensation New Field Sales Representatives earn between $40,530 and $51,890 (plus $20,000 – $100,000 in uncapped commission opportunities). Individual starting salary depends on geography, experience, expertise, education/training, and on meeting or exceeding all sales goals.
Responsibilities
You’ll be the face and voice of AT&T to your customers, working independently to deliver personalized sales interactions at scheduled appointments.
You’ll close the deal with hands‑on demos, Wi‑Fi assessments, tech delivery, and issue resolution—keeping customers connected to what matters most.
How You Get the Job Done
Paid training will set you up for success to work independently in the field. Coaching, mentoring, and ongoing learning opportunities keep you tech‑savvy.
You’ll connect with existing customers daily. AT&T provides scheduled appointments, giving you the opportunity to engage with warm prospects effectively.
You’ll use strong negotiation and communication skills—knowing how to pivot smoothly. You are highly motivated to get it right and make the sale.
Key Expectations
1+ year of commission sales experience required; outside sales experience highly preferred.
Demonstrated success in commission sales and achievement of sales Xml.
Proficient in upselling techniques that enhance customer value and satisfaction.
Strong verbal communication skills with an ability to build rapport quickly.
Maintain a valid driver’s license—prepared for driving as a company vehicle is available for official business use only.
Work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet customers on their timeline.
Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check, drug screening, criminal history, and motor‑vehicle record.
