Account Manager (Financial Services-Focused) Position: Full-Time

Location: Remote

Working Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM EST/CST (flexible)

About The Company We are a U.S.-based firm specializing in cost segregation and energy tax solutions, helping property owners unlock significant tax incentives and improve cash flow. Our services empower real estate investors, financial professionals, and tax advisors seeking to deliver deeper value to their clients.

Role Overview We’re looking for a proactive, relationship‑oriented Account Manager who thrives on deepening engagement with existing clients. Instead of hunting new accounts, this role is dedicated to nurturing an assigned portfolio, ensuring clients receive exceptional service, adopt our solutions fully, and continue to expand their utilization over time. You’ll act as a strategic advisor—understanding client goals, guiding them through tax‑advantaged strategies, and identifying value‑add opportunities already present within the account. The ideal candidate brings financial acumen, consultative communication, and the ability to translate complex incentives into clear business benefits.

Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management

Serve as the primary advisor and day‑to‑day contact for an assigned portfolio of active accounts.

Build long‑term trust with real estate investors, CPAs, financial professionals, and business owners.

Conduct regular check‑ins, reviews, and strategy calls to understand evolving client needs.

Ensure clients are fully supported throughout the lifecycle of each engagement.

Retention & Expansion (Inside‑Account Growth)

Identify opportunities to expand account value—introducing additional studies, incentives, or services relevant to current clients.

Proactively surface insights based on client portfolios, prior results, and upcoming tax cycles.

Educate clients on cost segregation, 179D/45L, energy incentives, and related tax strategies.

Support clients in presenting the ROI and tax impacts internally to their stakeholders.

Onboarding & Implementation Oversight

Guide newly acquired accounts through a structured onboarding process.

Set clear expectations, ensure strong alignment between client needs and internal delivery teams.

Maintain oversight of timelines, communication, and deliverables to ensure seamless execution.

Account Performance Management

Monitor client KPIs: utilization, engagement, satisfaction, retention, and expansion indicators.

Maintain accurate CRM records, including call notes, next steps, and opportunity signals.

Produce regular account summaries and forecast updates for leadership and cross‑functional teams.

Develop account plans that support long‑term partnership growth.

What We’re Looking For Experience & Skills

3+ years in account management, customer success, client advisory, or a similar client‑facing role.

Experience in financial services, real estate, tax strategy, or consulting is strongly preferred.

Proven ability to retain, grow, and deepen value within an existing client portfolio.

Exceptional communication and relationship‑building abilities.

Strong organizational skills with a self‑driven, client‑first mindset.

Bonus Points

Background as a financial advisor, account executive, consultant, or similar advisory role.

Familiarity with cost segregation, 179D/45L incentives, or commercial real estate investing.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience.
