Mechanical Designer PTS Advance•Centerville, Ohio, USA Details Job Title: Mechanical Designer (material handling equipment) - Mining Projects Location: Centerville UT (Hybrid Schedule) Type: Contract (Minimum 6 Months Potential for Extension) About the Role Youll work on the design and engineering of complex material handling systems for mining operations. This includes everything from conveyor and crusher design to dust collection systems. If you have a strong foundation in mechanical/material handling design—especially in mining—youll hit the ground running. Key Responsibilities Design and layout of modular material handling systems Engineering of various conveyors including radial stackers feed and transfer conveyors Design and integration of crushing systems: tertiary, secondary crushers, feeders, hoppers and bins Layouts for screeners, vibrating grizzly feeders and hoppers Design of dust control systems including baghouses, blowers and dust collectors Preferred Qualifications Background in mining or heavy industrial engineering projects Experience with gold mining operations is a plus but not required Ability to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team Strong knowledge of relevant design standards and material handling equipment Hourly wage: $45-$70.
